A public memorial service will be held Tuesday in Latrobe honoring the late Arnold Palmer. In conjunction with National Remembering Arnold Palmer Day, the folks at two Butler County golf courses are inviting the public to pay tribute to one of the best golfers of all time. The Conley Resort & Golf Course and the Suncrest Golf Course are teaming up with the Golf Channel to honor Arnold Palmer. Dave Smith is the general manager at both courses. He tells Beaver County Radio newsman Pat Septak that Arnold Palmer drinks will be half off the entire day at both courses. The event starts at 11 a.m. Palmer died at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (Shadyside) in Pittsburgh on September 25th, while awaiting heart surgery.
