(Universal City, CA) Watch “The Voice” to see a local teenager perform. Ashley Marina, a Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School graduate, posted a message on Facebook on Monday, recommending followers watch her audition on the popular NBC singing contest. “It’s official! I auditioned for ‘The Voice: Battle of Champions,” Marina said. “Tune in Mondays starting February 23rd on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock TV.” Marina is no stranger to televised singing competitions, having dazzled judges and viewers alike as a 12-year-old contestant on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2020. She has performed locally at events like the Beaver Light-Up Festival, the Fire & Ice festival in New Brighton and the Women Who Rock concert at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE.
