(Mercer County, PA) A lawmaker in Pennsylvania seeks to make coverage in health care for gender transitions to be reversed. Senator Michele Brooks confirms payments for care that is gender-affirming are through private insurance or Medicaid. She believes that these will assist in someone not going through the process to change their gender. This change has been seen in the memo of Brooks, which references papers that more transgender people felt regret over changing their gender.
