Next Monday, jury selection begins in the trial of an Ambridge man charged with criminal homicide in a double murder last year. Brandon Richardson is charged with two counts of criminal homicide in the incident at the Sunoco station on Merchant Street last December. Police say Richardson was being assaulted by five people. Afterward, two of the men in the group were shot to death. Richardson’s attorney says it was a case of self-defense but prosecutors argue Richardson should have stopped shooting after the first shot.
