Investigation: Lead in Some Canadian Water Worse than Flint

MONTREAL (AP) — Journalists and university students fanned out across Canada to collected drinking water lead tests. They found much higher levels than the government has previously disclosed, in some cities worse average levels than seen in Flint, Michigan, at the peak of its contaminated water crisis. The investigation reviewed some 43,000 tap samples and found schools, day care centers and homes in some cases have high enough levels to endanger people drinking the water.
