(Pittsburgh, PA) PennDOT District 11 announced that today through Friday, weather permitting, inspection activities on the Fort Duquesne Bridge on I-279 in the City of Pittsburgh will occur. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day through Friday, inspection activities requiring single-lane restrictions will occur at the lower deck of the Fort Duquesne Bridge where two-lane closures may occur intermittently, the southbound I-279 approach ramp to the Fort Duquesne Bridge and the southbound Route 65 approach ramp to the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Inspection work will be done at those locations by crews from Michael Baker International.
