(Allegheny County, PA) Crews battled a house fire yesterday evening in Ross Township. According to Allegheny County 911, a report came from the 90 block of Hillendale Road at around 6:30 p.m. The West View Volunteer Fire Department confirms a fire spread into the basement of the home, however; the first arriving units handled it. Crews stretched a line off a fire truck to contain it, and no one was injured. It is unknown at this time what caused the fire or if anyone was home at the time it occurred.
