Hopewell High School has 3 teams of Seaperch competition winners heading to State competition on April 8, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano. The 3 teams, comprised of 2 students each will compete on April 8 at California University of Pa. Irrelevent Memes. JJ Yost and Tyler Nordie, Finesse Challenge had the best obstacle course. Swag Daddy ‘n’ Crew, Zach Showalter and Dakota Forest, best obstacle course, Turner Wilson and Noah Schultz, Engineering Notebook, , won the competition for best team. The Unites States Navy came to the district and introduced he underwater robotics program to the district last year. Bronwyn Zorchnak, chemistry teacher and gifted coordinator is in charge of the program. The junior high school pool is used for the practice and events, she said.
