Holiday Season Impaired Driving Enforcement Begins This Weekend

(Hopewell Twp., Pa.)Hopewell Police Detective Greg Durkos, who serves as the Beaver County Impaired Driving Task Force Coordinator  announced that the task  force will be out  this weekend and  throughout the Christmas and New year Holiday in support of the state’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Initiative.

Checkpoints and /or roving patrols will be conducted at undisclosed locations  throughout Beaver County to keep roads safe, save lives, and reduce DUI crashes.  Drivers are encouraged to drink responsibly and assign designated drivers or make alternate arrangements to get home safely. Seat belt use is your best deffense in any crash, the task force reminds all drivers to  BUCKLE UP!
