Six new teachers , including a guidance counselor were hired by Central Valley School District, according to Superintendent Nick Perry. According to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano, Ken McLaughlin of Monaca, currently working in the Freedom School District, was hired as a 6-8th grade learning support teacher. Dr.Nicholas Unis announced that ipad training for parents will be in the next few weeks. Ipads will be issued for grades k-5 this year, also . Edward Eimiller, district technology director said parents can learn how the teachers will implement the program in the classroom. Perry announced that school starts on Monday.
