Giraffes named Levi and Blue Jeans from Keystone Safari in Grove City, Pennsylvania give birth to their fourth giraffe calf at Keystone Safari; name of this female calf will be determined by a contest

(Grove City, PA) According to an announcement from Keystone Safari on Tuesday, Keystone Safari announced the birth of a giraffe calf who got delivered on August 22nd 2025 at 9 a.m. at their zoo in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The calf is a female baby which does not have a name yet, but its parents are named Levi and Blue Jeans. The newborn female calf at Keystone Safari is bonding and resting with Levi and Blue Jeans, who were both raised in the area of New Castle. In the late part of 2018, Levi and Blue Jeans moved to Keystone Safari, and this newborn female calf is their fourth calf, who joins their first-born calf, Calvin, who was born in 2017, their second-born calf, Timber, who was born in 2021, and their third-born calf, Keyari, who was born in 2023. There will also be a contest from the Keystone Safari to name this newborn female calf of Levi and Blue Jeans. Guests who go to Keystone Safari guest that pay for park admission there will get one entry that is free into the contest for naming the newborn female calf of Levi and Blue Jeans at the Keystone Safari giraffe barn, which will go through Labor Day of 2025, which is September 1st, 2025. Staff of Keystone Safari will select the name that wins in the naming contest for the newborn female calf of Levi and Blue Jeans and whoever selects the winning name will get two season passes to Keystone Safari.
