(Pittsburgh, PA) A handful of Value City Furniture stores in the Pittsburgh-area are now going out of business after their parent company filed for bankruptcy. Value City Furniture’s Monroeville, Cranberry, Robinson Township, and Pleasant Hills locations will be closing in Western Pennsylvania. The company stated that the decision to go out of business came late last year when parent company American Signature Inc. began a court-supervised process to facilitate a sale and wind down operations and they will no longer be accepting gift cards at any closing locations. Anyone that has information about a recent order at the closing Value City Furniture stores is asked to call 888-751-8552.
