(Washington, D.C.) According to an announcement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration last week, Ford Motor Company is recalling over 197,000 Mustang Mach-E vehicles. This is because of a problem with the door latches in these vehicles that could cause a trap to passengers trying to get into them. The NHTSA confirms that the battery level of the car can drop to a level that is too low, and the locked latches can trap people and get them injured during the high heat.
