Fire that started at one home in the Hazelwood nieghborhood of Pittsburgh and spread to three adjacent homes hospitalizes two firefighters and its cause is under investigation

(Pittsburgh, PA) A fire occurred in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Saturday which caused two firefighters to get taken to the hospital. The cause of this fire is being investigated by the fire investigation unit of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. According to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, just after 7 p.m., they were called to the 5100 block of Chaplin Way for a fire at a row home. The fire started in one home and then went to three homes that were adjacent to the first home. The fire started back up again on Sunday morning. One firefighter had second-degree burns on his wrists and another firefighter had shortness of breath and smoke inhalation. Both were taken to the hospital. As of Saturday night, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire believes that as a result of the fire, it is unknown how many residents have been displaced, but they are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
