Fire tears through a building in Braddock

(Braddock, PA) A fire tore through a building in Braddock this afternoon. Allegheny County 911 dispatchers state that emergency crews were sent to a building on the 600 block of Braddock Avenue at 11:37 a.m. It was declared a three-alarm fire, with at least seventeen departments on the  scene near Braddock Avenue and Maple Way. According to a Channel 11 source, the building’s roof has partially collapsed. There are no reported injuries at this time.
