(Pittsburgh, PA) Emergency crews responded to a fire that occurred this morning at the BNY Mellon Center building in Downtown Pittsburgh at the scene in the 500 block of Grant Street. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, firefighters were able to quickly put the minor fire out. Heavy smoke caused temporary evacuations to occur and there were no reported injuries. The cause of this fire is unknown at this time.
