(Sewickley, PA) Thirty-seven-year-old Bruno Guedes da Silva, a father from Sewickley, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Sunday. Hadley Haas, who is speaking on behalf of his family, stated that his family moved to the United States in 2022, escaped a dangerous situation in Brazil. Haas confirmed that Guedes da Silva was pulled over by federal agents and was taken into custody outside Osborne Elementary School in Sewickley over the weekend. According to the ICE website, Guedes da Silva is in the Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville, West Virginia.
