Fan Arrested at Steeler Game

While Pittsburgh Police say there were no “major” incidents from yesterday’s game, one officer was injured while ejecting 47-year-old Elvis Matejcic from Heinz Field. Court papers say Matejcic was in the champions club plaza area when he and his friends rushed to a fence to celebrate a Steelers touchdown. Security asked them to move back. After not listening a deputy asked them to move back and Matejcic refused. He told the deputy “I ain’t moving and you ain’t moving me.” The deputy told him he would be ejected if he didn’t listen. Matejcic alledgedly knocked the officer over, injuring his knee and hip. He was charged with aggravated assault on police, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
