PennDOT District 11 is announcing a lane restriction on eastbound Interstate 376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) in Center Township, Beaver County will occur Friday, October 12 weather permitting. A single-lane restriction on eastbound I-376 will occur from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday between the Center (Exit 42) and Aliquippa (Exit 45) interchanges. Contract crews for First-Energy will be spooling and removing a downed conductor adjacent to the highway as a result of damage caused by a gas line explosion. PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only.
