(Allegheny County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Pittsburgh reported via release yesterday that a single-vehicle crash occurred in Allegheny County on the evening of February 1st, 2026. At 6:39 p.m., twenty-one-year-old James McEwen of East Palestine, Ohio was driving north on I-79 in South Fayette Township and hit a deer that ran into the road. There were no reported injuries and there were no charges filed.
