(Big Beaver, Pa.) The City of Beaver Falls Police Department is reporting via press release that at 6:07 AM Sunday morning, March 14, 2021, the Big Beaver Volunteer Fire Department and the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department were called to the 1200 block of Shenango Road in Big Beaver Borough for a possible structural fire. First responders did locate a fire at 1095 Shenango Road.
While firefighters were battling the fire they found a 26-year-old male who was deceased in the residence. No information is being released at this time as too the victims identity pending notification of the next of kin.
Beaver Falls Police Chief David Johnson said in the statement that the incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police are asking anyone with information to the incident or anyone who may have been a witness to activity at 1095 Shenango Road between the hours of 3 AM and 6 AM to contact the City of Beaver Falls Police Department or the Beaver County Detectives Bureau at 724-846-7000 or 724-775-0880.
It’s not clear if the Be On the Look Out Bulletin issued by Pennsylvania State Police early Sunday morning for a 2014 grayish green Chevy pick-up tuck with Texas registration that is wanted for an incident in Big Beaver Borough has anything to do with the fire. The Bulletin says to that there are two people in the vehicle and they should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees this vehicle is asked to call 911 or local police.
