Driver Injured When Car Strikes Firetruck In Pulaski Township

A driver was injured when a firetruck and car collided in Pulaski Township Saturday morning. The crash happened at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Rochester Road and Marion Hill Road. Firefighters say a Daughtery Township volunteer fire department truck was returning to the station from a drill in New Brighton. The truck was going through the intersection when a car, driven by a 26-year-old woman, skidded through a red light and struck the right rear of the fire truck. The driver was taken to Heritage Valley Hospital. Firefighters on the truck were not injured.
