The Dreamers Make Their Debut In Aliquippa

A group of young ladies” DREAMERS”. ages 8-18, from Aliquippa made their debut Saturday  at a tea luncheon at Aliquippa High School, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano. Sandra Gill, founded the group whose meaning is “determined to reach, educate and motivate responsible sisters”. The girls performed before about 50 people, including many family members. Aliquippa Mayor Dwan Walker was master of Ceremonies and lauded Ms. Gill’s efforts and recalled how her home was one that was open to youth in the neighborhood as a safe place. Aliquippa native Danielle Forbes had the group on her tv show recently which is on YouTube.  Forbes is a flight attendant with American Airlines. Her home base is in Miami. She is a mother of 2, a 1993 Aliquippa graduate, and was homecoming queen in 1992. Forbes is working on her own fashion line called Forbes Originals.
