David McCullough (16th Street) Bridge in Pittsburgh restricted this week for inspection activities

(Pittsburgh, PA) Routine inspection work will restrict a busy bridge that connects the North Shore to the Strip District of Pittsburgh throughout the week. The David McCullough (16th Street) Bridge, which serves nearly 15,000 vehicles each day, is being inspected between today and Friday. There will be periodic lane closures during the work so crews can work safely. According to Allegheny County officialsthat bridge was last inspected in February of 2024, and it was rated as being in fair condition.
