(Chippewa Twp., Beaver County, Pa.) Pa State Police in Beaver are reporting that on Friday, April 1, 2022, Chippewa Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at 4:30 PM at a location in the 100 block of Blackhawk Road in Chippewa Township, Beaver County.
The release said upon township officers arriving on the scene it was determined that a known juvenile from Darlington fired multiple shots at Elijah Hicks of Darlington and an unnamed juvenile while they were in the parking lot. One of the rounds fired struck an occupied structure according to police.
Troopers said in the release that Chippewa Police asked them to assume responsibility of the investigation. There were no injuries reported.
Felony charges were filed against the known juvenile from Darlington who currently has an active warrant for his arrest.

UPDATE AT 2:17PM Monday April 4, 2022: Pa. State Police in Beaver have confirmed to Beaver County Radio that the suspect has been taken into custody. No other information is being released as the incident is still under investigation.
