Police say the woman, who is petite in stature, has been going around burglarizing homes late at night, and in most cases, people were home when she slipped in through unlocked doors. Authorities say the woman has made off with cash and prescription pills. They added that when confronted by homeowners, she often comes up with an excuse for being there and then leaves. In one case, a homeowner offered her help, but she still left. The burglar is described as a young, white woman with a petite build.
