The County Commissioners went through a varied slew of topics and announcements during their weekly work session on Wednesday. It started with an appearance from local representatives for the U.S. Census Bureau, asking that the Commissioners along with the public start to help out with the upcoming 2020 census; asking that thorough accounts of all citizens be an imperative part of the County’s agenda.
Then it was the Commissioners’ turns to present their reports and findings; among the most notable was Sandie Egley’s finding in regards to renovation (or even replacement) of the Beaver County Ice Arena:
The Ice Arena has, in the past year, come under considerable scrutiny about upkeep, renovation, and lack of overall acceptability.
However, when the floor was open for audience comments, the subject turned sharply to discussion about the budget. There was some confusion over the ideals that were brought forth involving Susquehanna Consulting firm; confusion that Chairman Dan Camp wanted to clarify:
The Commissioners will reconvene for tomorrow’s Public Session at 10 AM.
