Center native to direct CHOIR AT SNF’S 100TH SERBIAN DAY AT KENNYWOOD CHOIR

George Milosh, Center Township native and a professional musician will direct a choir of more than 40 on Saturday at the Serb National Federation’s 100th Serbian Day at Kennywood, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano. They are scheduled to perform at 1:15 p.m.

An orchestra of 9 members from the area will accompany the singers who will sing “Orao Klicke” a special song in honor of the event.There is a schedule of  other performances beginning at noon and ending at 7:45 p.m., according to Dane Topich, chairman of the 100th anniversary. The Garden Stage in the middle of Kennywood is where the events will take place.
At 4:30 p.m. the stage is set for a program on the Halyard Mission featuring Retired USAF LT. Colonel John Cappello, John Martich SNF president will introduce Cappello.
