TONIGHT A GROUP OF BLACKHAWK SCHOOL DISTRICT MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS WILL MEET TO DISCUSS THEIR PERSONAL CONCERNS ABOUT THE DISTRICT’S SPENDING. THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS ANY CONSENSUS OF DOING ANYTHING ABOUT SCHOOL DISTRICT SPENDING AHEAD OF THE MAY PRIMARY ELECTION, IN WHICH THE SCHOOL BOARD HAS SIX OPEN SEATS, ALL FO WHICH ARE CONTESTED. THE INFORMAL DISCUSSION HAS NO SET AGENDA…AND THERE’S NO WORD ON WHO WILL RUN THE MEETING OR WHICH MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS WILL ATTEND. THE MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC…AND WILL BE HELD AT THE DARLINGTON TOWNSHIP BUILDING AT 7:00 TONIGHT.
