Accepting the Proclamation was “Run For McGuire” committee member John Harvey, who later went on to explain how the fundraiser is personal for him, having had an older sister who received special care after being stricken with polio many years ago.

McGuire Memorial was founded in 1963 and continues to provide state of the art care for 55 of “God’s Entrusted Treasures” at the campus in Daugherty township.  All net proceeds for the “Run for McGuire – A Special Ride For Special People” go toward funding the ongoing mission of providing the best possible care for the beloved residents at McGuire Memorial.
