As summer comes to a close, AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report states that gas prices rise ten cents in Western Pennsylvania this week

(Pittsburgh, PA) Gas prices are ten cents higher in Western Pennsylvania this week at about $3.47 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report. As summer comes to a close, $3.16 is the national average for a gallon of gas in the United States, going up three cents over the past week. The report states that at this time a year ago, the average price for a gallon of gas in Western Pennsylvania was $3.70. The report also notes that the average price that you can expect for a gallon of unleaded gas here in Beaver County is around $3.56. According to a release from AAA East Central and AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report, here are the average prices of unleaded self-serve gasoline this week in various areas:
