Another Traveler Charged With Trying To Pass Gun Through Pgh Int’l Airport Security Checkpoint

For the second time this week, a man is facing charges for trying to pass a gun through a Pittsburgh International Airport security checkpoint. The man from California had an unloaded 22-caliber revolver when he was stopped by T-S-A officials. The incident comes hours after a West Virginia woman attempted to take a loaded nine millimeter handgun through a checkpoint. In both incidents, the weapons are confiscated and the travelers are detained, questioned, and cited on weapons violations.
