Ambridge Native To Share Stories From The Titanic Tonight

It was 104 years ago today…that the R.M.S. Titanic sank in the waters of the North Atlantic Ocean..after colliding with an iceberg, four days into the ship’s maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. Tonight…Ambridge native Rhonda Wozniak will speak at the Laughlin Memorial Library in Ambridge about her work, which is to preserve artifacts from the Titanic expedition. Wozniak tells Beaver County Radio newsman Pat Septak that she is a graduate of Ambridge Area High School and a long-time listener of WBVP and WMBA. She says proceeds from tonight’s dinner and lecture will benefit the library. However, if you’re interested in attending, and you don’t already have tickets, you’re out of luck – the event is completely sold out!
