Ambridge Borough Council met last night and recognized its police department in observance of National Police Week, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano. National Police Officers Memorial Day is May 15. The borough has 11 full time and 10 part time officers and a K-9. The police department responds to over 1,200 calls per month and is under the direction of Mayor Richard D’Ambrosio and Chief James Mann. Council president Mike Mikulich asked that “everyone please take a moment to thank our officers when you see them out on patrol.”
