Ambridge-Aliquippa Bridge Washing Activities Begin Tonight

PENNDOT SAYS THAT WASHING ACTIVITIES ON THE AMBRIDGE-ALIQUIPPA BRIDGE OVER THE OHIO RIVER IN AMBRIDGE AND ALIQUIPPA WILL BEGIN TONIGHT. SINGLE-LANE ALTERNATING TRAFFIC WILL OCCUR ON THE BRIDGE FROM 7 P-M TO 5 A-M WEEKNIGHTS THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT, JUNE 7TH AS CREWS CONDUCT BRIDGE WASHING ACTIVITIES. FLAGGERS WILL ASSIST MOTORISTS THRUOGH THE WORK ZONE. MEANWHILE, LANE RESTRICTIONS ON THE BEAVER VALLEY EXPRESSWAY ON THE VANPORT BRIDGE AND POTTER TOWNSHIPS ARE CONTINUING TODAY AS WELL. SINGE-LANE RESTRICTIONS WILL OCCUR ON THE I-376 VANPORT BRIDGE OVER THE OHIO RIVER IN EACH DIRECTION FROM 6 A-M TODAY CONTINUOUSLY THROUGH 6 A-M TUESDAY,  JUNE 9TH. CREWS WILL COMPLETE BRIDGE PAINTING, REMOVE THE BRIDGE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, CONDUCT LINE PAINTING AND INSTALL AN EPOXY OVERLAY ON THE DECK.
