(Allegheny County, PA) An Allegheny County man has recently been arrested and charged with delivering drugs that caused the death of another man. According to Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday, forty-year-old Brennon Ely was arrested at a home in Pitcairn. Ely is charged in connection with the death of a Scott Township man who was found dead inside a home in March of 2025. Sunday has not provided the identity of the male victim at this time. Investigators confirm that Ely provided the victim with bags of fentanyl and heroin called “Carlitos Way.” Those bags were found in the same house as the victim. Sunday stated that Ely also sold drugs to an undercover agent before his arrest. Investigators note that during this exchange, he brought a small child with him. Police searched the vehicle of Ely after his arrest and Sunday’s office expressed that they found multiple bricks labeled with the “Carlito’s Way” stamps. This case will be prosecuted by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office.
