(Allegheny County, PA) A corrections officer from the Allegheny County Jail got suspended for a video in which he displays and announces comments that are racist. Last week, an intake officer, Brian Davis, posted a viral video on social media with him holding a baseball bat that said “the racist word that starts with n, beater” with barbed wire around it. On Sunday, Allegheny Council Member Bethany Hallam contacted the warden of the Allegheny County Jail about this incident. An investigation regarding the suspension of Davis is presently happening and there is no word yet as of today.
