(Aliquippa, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported via release today that forty-eight-year-old Matthew Smith of Aliquippa was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in Potter Township on the early morning of December 19th, 2025. At 2:20 a.m., a one-vehicle crash happened along 414 I-376 East and Smith was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Charges against Smith are pending.
