(Pittsburgh, PA) According to a release from Allegheny Health Network, AHN Wexford Hospital announced on Friday it has been recognized as a top performer nationally in the 2025 Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Ranking by Vizient, Inc. The Vizient Quality and Accountability Study, which has been conducted every year since 2005, recognized AHN Wexford Hospital and twenty other hospitals across the United States for their care that is high-quality as well as demonstrating excellence in that care. AHN Wexford Hospital was the only hospital recognized in this study from Western Pennsylvania, which puts it in the top nine percent of community hospitals nationwide in this category.
