Police in Moon Township are investigating a suspected case of animal cruelty. According to police, the dog owner’s boyfriend was upset with the 8-month-old puppy so he kicked it, breaking its legs. The alleged abuse happened at a home in Mooncrest. The puppy was removed from the home last Friday. The dog’s right rear leg was badly broken. Veterinarians removed the puppy’s leg. Jinx is now living in a new home. Police say animal-cruelty charges are pending.
