Rochester 28, Our Lady of Sacred Heart 12

It was a defensive struggle between two Big Seven titans, and one team remained undefeated in the standings.

The Rochester Rams won on WBVP Friday night, getting a 28-12 victory over the Our Lady of The Sacred Heart Chargers at Rochester Stadium. The Rams’s victory keeps them undefeated at 6-0 (section and overall), while OLSH drops to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big Seven.

Ian Kouba (Rochester) and Matt Schnarre (OLSH) were selected as the CCBC Players of The Game.

Riverside 18, Freedom 10

It was quite the battle Saturday night at Bulldog Stadium for Homecoming, and at the end of the night, the team on top stayed on top.

The Riverside Panthers hold on to win 18-10 over the Freedom Bulldogs on Beaver County Radio. Riverside took a 12-3 lead into the half, but Freedom kept it close until being stopped on the final drive.

During the 1st quarter, Freedom WR Nick Henderson became the leading receiver in Bulldog history. The game was paused to honor his accomplishment; audio of this highlight is posted below.

With the win, Riverside stays undefeated in the Midwestern Athletic Conference at 4-0 (4-1 overall). Freedom drops to 1-2 in the conference (1-5 overall).

Henderson, along with Riverside’s Lance Fisher, earn the honors as tonight’s CCBC Players of the Game.

Hopewell’s undefeated streak to begin the year has come to an end.

The Quaker Valley Quakers get their first win in three weeks in a 31-14 victory over the Hopewell Vikings at Chuck Knox Stadium tonight on WMBA. The Quakers improve to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the Beaver Valley Conference. Hopewell drops to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Billy DePaul was named CCBC Player of the Game for the Vikings; Jordan Martin earned honors for the Quakers.
