Maryann (O’Neill) Lindner (1937-2024)

Maryann (O’Neill) Lindner, 87 of Darlington, passed away Tuesday May 28, 2024 in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh.

Born February 19, 1937 in Aliquippa was the daughter of the late Charles & Margaret O’Neill.

Maryann graduated from Darlington High School in 1955.   She was a member of St. Augustine’s Parish ( St. Monica’s).

Surviving are a sister Madelaine ( Frank) Jenkins, a brother Patrick O’ Neill and her three children John Charles Lindner, Kathleen Ann Lindner and Jerry Matthew ( Crystal) Lindner.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John E. Lindner, her sister Margaret O’Neill and sister-in-law Toni O’Neill.

A private Blessing service was held for the family with Father Bill Schwartz.

Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chippewa Township.

Timothy Blackburn (September 2, 1960 – May 26, 2024)

Timothy Blackburn Sr., 63, of West Mayfield passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie (Estel) Blackburn and their four children, Heather Lynn Blackburn (Tyrone Climo), Markelle Herman (Jason Herman), Hannah Blackburn and Timothy Blackburn; two brothers David Blackburn (Nancy) and Mark Blackburn (Tammy). Tim was loved deeply by his seven grandchildren, Paige, Raelynn, McKinley Wyatt, Joseph, Austyn Lyn and Leroy.

He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Blackburn and his mother Martha Jane Ceratti, brothers, Craig Blackburn and Cecil Blackburn.

Tim loved his Steelers and Pirates and would cheer them on in his loud booming voice every chance he could.
Tim worked for 23 years in the dietary dept. at Heritage Valley, Beaver and was a cook for Lances Port and Pub in Darlington.

A memorial service will be held June 22nd at 11:00 am at Chippewa Alliance Church, 3629 37th Street Ext., Beaver Falls.

Terry A. Brown (July 25,1958 – May 25,2024)

Terry A. Brown, 65, of Brighton Township, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2024. He was the son of the late Robert and Lucille Brown. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Holly Brown, children, Crystal (Matt) Yaria, Chelsea (Tommy) Schultz, siblings, Dave (Elaine) Brown, Jeff Brown, Lucy (Randy) Hartung, grandchildren, Olivia and Ruby Yaria, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Terry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR racing fan. He enjoyed his two dogs Luna and Xnea. He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, and grandfather who absolutely loved and adored his family. Friends and Family will be received on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549. Edwin “Coach” D. Driscoll (1942-2024)

Edwin, aka “Coach”, D. Driscoll passed away on May 22, 2024, surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ann Driscoll and sister, Eileen Driscoll.  Ed leaves behind his loving wife, Pat, children Bryan Driscoll (Sharon), Monica Driscoll, Erin Perry (fiancé, Kevin), Shannon Martocci (Matt), Sara Melocchi (Nick) as well as 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Ed also leaves behind his sister, Sandra Dziubek (Jack) along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Ed graduated from North Catholic High School, received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and his master’s in education from The University of Pittsburgh.  He began his teaching career at Letsche Elementary School before continuing his career at Quigley Catholic High School from 1969-2006 where he ultimately retired.  During his tenure at Quigley, Ed was a custodian, drove school busses, taught Anatomy and Physiology and Physical Education, coached wrestling, baseball, football, boys and girls track, was the Assistant Principal, Disciplinarian, and Athletic Director.  Throughout his professional career, Ed received many accolades including having the Midwestern Athletic Conference Wrestling Championship being renamed The Ed Driscoll Midwestern Athletic Conference Wrestling Championship, inducted into the Beaver County Sports Hall of Fame, MAC Wrestling Hall of Fame and Southwestern Wrestling Hall of Fame, named Regional Athletic Director of the Year, Beaver County Man of the Year, wrestling and baseball Coach of the Year.  Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. and Monday, May 27, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the John Syka Funeral Home 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge, PA 15003.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse Chapel 1020 State St. Baden, PA 15005.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the AHN Cardiology Department at AHN office of Development, PO Box 535604 Pittsburgh, PA 15253-5604.  Please write your gift designation to Cardiology and in memory of Edwin Driscoll in the memo field of the check.

Dolores M. Reisinger (1927-2024)

Dolores M. Reisinger, of Beaver Falls, passed away peacefully on her 97th birthday, in the comfort of her home.

Born on May 23, 1927, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline (Gordon) Stelter.

Dolores had retired from the former Beaver Valley Geriatric Center and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Owls, Rochester.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Reisinger, Sr.; a brother, William Stelter, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Sarra Reisinger; and two sisters-in-law, Beverly Stelter and Margorie Oselet.

She is survived by her children; Harry Reisinger, Jr., Dale (Kathy) Reisinger, Cheryl (Jeff) Magee, and Sue (Tim) Thompson; grandchildren, Stacy Bronick, Harry (Amy) Reisinger III, Joshua (Payton) Reisinger, Matthew Reisinger, Megan Reisinger, Emily Reisinger, Kelly (Ryan) Matsook, Timothy (Kayla) Magee, Jordan Modro, Christian (Miranda) Modro, Steven (Heidi) Modro, Jr., and Michael Modro; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 29th at 3PM until the time of service at 6PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.

Patricia L. Schupay (1938-2024)

Patricia L. Schupay, 85, of Vanport Twp., went home with the Lord, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Cambridge Village, Patterson Twp.

Born August 28, 1938 in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Julia E. Brockman Casbourne. A resident of Beaver all her life, Patricia graduated from Beaver High School in 1956. She worked for 13 years as a secretary at Westinghouse Electric, Vanport Twp., going on to spend 19 more years at the Medical Center, Beaver, retiring in 2008. She was a faithful member of Vanport Presbyterian Church, where she served as Deacon, office assistant, and sang in the choir. In her spare time, Patricia loved to dance and read.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “Jack” E. Schupay in 1999; daughter, Linda E. Stewart; and brother, William R. Casbourne, Jr.

Patricia will be greatly missed by her children, Tracy (Bob) Starkey, Brighton Twp., and Lori (Craig) Davis, Patterson Heights; sister, Norma J. Anderson; grandchildren, Shaun Stewart, Stephanie Geary, Michelle Schinke, and Marshall Bruce; step-grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Kilkullen, Kayla (Cody) Seltzer, and Justin (Gina) Davis; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Jordan, Julia and Jenni (Ian Hartwell) Schinke, and Gino and Caelin Geary; step-great-grandchildren, Rylee and Carson Kilkullen, Leo and Sam Seltzer and Vincent Davis; along with extended family, church family and friends.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Vanport Presbyterian Church, 289 Georgetown Lane, Beaver, PA 15009. Patricia A. Weber (1942-2024)

Patricia Ann Weber, 82, of Chippewa Twp., passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Lakeview Personal Care Home.

Born February 23, 1942, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Farrell) Theuerl.  Patricia graduated from Quigley High School. She enjoyed being a greeter at Walmart, loved baking, listening to music, and was passionate about dogs. She was also a member of a card playing club for several years.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband, George M. Weber Sr.; a son, David Weber; and two brothers, Frank J. Theuerl and David Theuerl.

She is survived by her children; George M. Weber Jr., Scott P. Weber, and Cathrine E. (Timothy) Nevill; grandchildren, Justin Nevill and Riley Nevill; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 31st at 9 AM until the time of a Blessing Service 10:30 AM Fr. Kim Schreck will officiate in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

Dorothy Zaluski (April 12, 1935 – May 19, 2024)

orothy (Rippee-Hill) Zaluski, 89, of Center Township, lovingly known as “GAGA” is now at peace, she passed away on May 19, 2024.

She was born April 12, 1935, in Aliquippa and is the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Baranyk) Rippee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Zaluski, her son Randall Hill, a brother, Richard Rippee, and a son-in-law, Scott Suehr.

Dorothy was Ukrainian Catholic by faith. She was an Avon Representative for 60 years and received many awards for her leadership in sales. One would often find Dorothy at flea markets and various events selling her products. Dorothy was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved spending time with her family watching the games. She enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, attending family events, and thoroughly enjoyed eating every meal.

Dorothy is survived by her three loving children: Vicki Suehr (Andy Friend), Beth Ann (Larry) Nelson, and Jeffrey J. Hill. Four cherished grandchildren: Eric (Brittany) Hill, Jamie (Bryan) Girata, Kati Beth Nelson (Shawn Byers), and Tesa Sue Hill (Danni Lucas). Dororthy is also survived by several great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Joann Rippee, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary (Maria Antonietta DiTommaso) Incorvati – (July 6, 1932 – May 19, 2024)

Mary Incorvati (Maria Antonietta DiTommaso) of Center Township passed away on May 19, 2024, after an extended illness. Mary demonstrated personal strength and resilience throughout her entire life and illness. Born on July 6, 1932, in Bugnara, Italy, to Salvatore and Anna (Liberata) DiTommaso, she was a faithful member of Mary Queen of Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Center Township. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip Incorvati, and her son, Dr. Robert Incorvati. Mary’s brothers, Anthony Thomas, Larry Thomas, and Nello DiTommaso, all predeceased her. Surviving are her children and spouses: Chester and Deborah Incorvati, Florida; Sheila and Dr. Ronald Paolini, South Carolina; Dr. Dennis and Shannon Incorvati, Florida; Cynthia and Anthony Alam, Pennsylvania. In addition, eleven wonderful grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren brought much happiness and joy to their Nonna. Mary is also survived by her sister, Lena Crivelli, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Mary treasured moments with her family. Throughout her life, she offered unconditional love and encouragement. At gatherings and celebrations, she would light up a room with her energy, warm smile, and dancing. Always the nurturer, Mary could often be found in her yard tending to her flowers and herbs. She would welcome friends or neighbors into her home or porch, always offering a cup of coffee and a listening ear if they were in need of support. A genuine awareness of others’ needs came naturally to Mary. To the delight of her family, Mary shared the traditions and values she learned as a child in Italy. Always willing to help or provide genuine advice, she often used old Italian quotes or phrases to share wisdom. Generous in nature, Mary was known for her cooking and baking, particularly pasta, biscotti, and mostaccioli which she readily shared with friends and family. Sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation are extended to Mary’s caretakers for the excellent care and comfort they provided to our mother.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001, 724-375-0496. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Frances Cabrini Church on Saturday at 10:00 am. Everyone is asked to meet at the church.
Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Gary M. Battles (October 12, 1959 – May 20, 2024)

Gary M. Battles, 64, of Center, passed away on May 20, 2024, after an extended illness.
Born on October 2, 1959, in Pittsburgh to the late John “Jack” and Rosemarie (Mooney) Battles.

Gary was a faithful member of Mary Queen of Saints Parish, Saint Frances Cabrini Church. He was an avid golfer and bowler, formerly part of a bowling league where he made many friends.

Gary is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Diane (Ayoob) Battles, and their loving children, Scott Battles and Kristen Battles. A sister, Rosemary Battles, brother and sister-in-law, John M., and MaryAnn Battles and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC. 2026 McMinn Street Aliquippa PA 15001. 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
