(Coraopolis, PA) Coraopolis terminated its police department’s partnership with ICE after a 4-3 vote by its borough council on Thursday night after a hearing from numerous residents who opposed the deal inked earlier this month. This vote officially ended the Coraopolis Borough’s participation in the 287(g) program, which deputizes local law enforcement to act on behalf of ICE, although Coraopolis borough council and police Chief Jason Stewart stated that the department will still assist the federal government if it is called upon.

(Beaver County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported via release yesterday that twenty-seven-year-old Caitlyn Pike of Industry was not charged after causing a single-vehicle crash in Beaver County on Friday evening. At 8:24 p.m., Pike was driving west on US Route 30 in Greene Township west of Red Dog Road and did not negotiate a right curve before hitting a utility pole. Pike had a suspected minor injury after the crash occurred, but she refused transportation.

(Beaver County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported via release yesterday that they are currently investigating a theft that occurred in Hanover Township of Beaver County on November 13th, 2025. It happened between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. along Anderson Hozak Road. The victim of the crime was an unidentified seventy-year-old woman from Clinton, Pennsylvania, and she had $20,000 stolen from her after being involved in a Microsoft scam. The female victim also sent the money via Bitcoin.

(Beaver County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported via release yesterday that they are currently investigating the report of a child custody order violation in Beaver County. This happened on Saturday at 1:41 p.m. along Union Lane in Glasgow Borough and the victim was an unidentified fifty-two-year-old man from Midland.

(Beaver, PA) The death of a man from Beaver that occurred on Wednesday evening from a dog bite at a house in Beaver is still under investigation by both the Beaver County Coroner’s Office and the Beaver Borough Police Department. Beaver County Coroner David J. Gabauer identified the victim as fifty-year-old John Dicks, but he would not release any other information on him, saying the cause of death was “pending investigation.” Beaver police were called to a home along 6th Street right before 6 p.m. Sources say that a man was inside his home with his wife and two dogs when the woman said she heard a loud thud come from the kitchen. WPXI sources say the man’s wife walked into the kitchen and that the man was on the ground and their dog was at his neck, reportedly biting it. It is unclear exactly what happened at this time. Investigators are looking into if the man suffered a medical emergency.

(Beaver County, PA) Brett Ours of Aliquippa has now been found guilty of several charges after being accused of assaulting Preston Coleman at the Aliquippa VFW 3577 bar on January 5th, 2025. According to information provided to KDKA-TV, Ours was on trial for charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, strangulation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of instruments of crime and simple assault. Ours was found guilty on all of the charges except for attempted murder on Friday and the date of his sentencing has not been confirmed yet. Ours was accused of allegedly assaulting and strangling Coleman for about a half an hour at the bar located at 211 Penn Avenue as well as hitting him with a bar stool. Ronald Brown and Ireland Brown, both of Ambridge, are the other two suspects that were involved in the attack on Coleman. Both of them are expected to face trial at a later date for charges related to the assault of Coleman.

(Ambridge, PA) Police are now investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the lives of a man and a woman inside a home in Ambridge early yesterday morning. Police responded to the area of Locust Street just before 3 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived and began investigating, they found thirty-eight-year-old Ashley Anne Delucca of Ambridge and fifty-four-year-old Andre Littles of Pittsburgh dead from multiple gunshot wounds. According to a release from Ambridge Police Chief John DeLuca, officers identified the suspect as thirty-nine-year-old Howard James Thomas Jr. of Ambridge and issued a BOLO on him and his vehicle to outside agencies. Chief Deluca confirms that Thomas is now in custody on an arrest warrant for two counts of homicide and at around 8:37 a.m., Ohio State Highway Patrol informed Ambridge police that he had been apprehended after a crash in Zanesville, Ohio. Following the incident, Ambridge Mayor Tina Iorfido-Schmidt issued a post on Facebook, sharing her condolences to the family of the victims, while also telling the community that there is no active threat.

(Beaver Falls, Pa) Police were involved in an investigation on 5th Avenue between 17th Street and 18th Street in Beaver Falls Sunday night shortly after 11pm.

Initial reports indicated a shooting took place.

Beaver County Radio saw multiple evidence markers on the ground at the scene.

The scene was still active past midnight.

5th Avenue was taped off between the two streets.

(Monaca, Pa) In a press release issued Sunday, Stoelzle Glass confirmed Saturday’s fire occured on a production line.

The fire was quickly tackled by local fire departments and resulted in no injuries and limited damage.

Remediation is underway and the affected line is expected to be restored with four days.

The other production lines were not affected by the fire and have resumed operation.

No other operations have been affected and the plant is running as normal.

(Monaca, Pa) A fire broke out at Stoelzle Glass in Monaca around 5pm Saturday.

Flames and heavy smoke were visible at the plant.

Fire crews appeared to have the fire under control as of 6pm.
