State Police Search For Vandals Who Burglarized Home In Homewood Borough

TATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A HOME BURGLARY IN HOMEWOOD BOROUGH. DENNIS CARLINE OF BEAVER FALLS TELLS POLICE THAT HE DISCOVERED A GROUP OF STRANGERS FORCING ENTRY INTO A HOME THAT HE IS CARING FOR IN THE 100 BLOCK OF THIRD AVENUE IN THE BOROUGH. THE THE SUSPECTS REPORTEDLY REMOVED FURNITURE, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AND CLOTHING. THE BURGLARS ALSO TOWED AN INOPERABLE DARK BLUE 1954 MERCURY MONTERERY FROM A DETACHES GARAGE. New Alliance Between Beaver Valley Colleges Announced

The four major colleges in the Beaver Valley are joining forces!

Bridges & Pathways is a new program devised in conjuction by Robert Morris, Geneva College, CCBC and Penn State Beaver to promote higher education for those in Beaver County and surrounding areas.

At a press conference held today at the Uncommon Grounds Cafe in Aliquippa, CCBC President Dr. Chris Reber spoke about the areas of focus for Bridges & Pathways.

Dr. Calvin Troup also spoke at the press conference, discussing the cultural program and the importance of it:

Dr Jennifer Cushman, Chancellor of Penn State Beaver, spoke about the gathering process to bring together students and committee members:

Beaver Falls Man Stabbed During Overnight Domestic Incident

Authorities say a Beaver Falls man was stabbed during a domestic dispute at his home overnight. According to Beaver County emergency officials, the incident was reported just before 2:30 this morning at the house in the 1300 block of Third Avenue. The victim – identified by Beaver Falls police as 30-year-old Daniel Felo – ran to neighbors’ houses for help and one of them called 911. Felo was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition has not been released. Meanwhile, criminal charges have been filed against Tynecia Reddick in connection with the stabbing. She is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment….and she will be arraigned this morning.
