An off-duty Aliquippa police officer is accused of shooting an Allegheny County Jail guard in Pittsburgh after an argument in a nearby bar. According to a criminal complaint, the incident began at the Milestone Bar in Brentwood and spilled into the Carrick neighborhood shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday. Responding officers found Kevin Miller suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach on Stewart Avenue. Miller is listed in stable condition at a local hospital. 24-year-old Joshua Gonzales has identified himself as the shooter. Gonzalez told police he consumed approximately 10 beers prior to the incident. Gonzalez had been employed by the Aliquippa Police Department for 5 months. He is charged with aggravated assault.

State Police Search For Suspect In Fatal Hit and Run In Industry
State police say the driver of a car didn’t stop after fatally striking a pedestrian on a Beaver County highway. Troopers from the Beaver barracks say the death is suspicious. The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Brandon Bixler. Police say Bixler was hit by a vehicle shortly after 2 a.m. on Route 68, which is known locally as Midland Beaver Road in Industry. Police say the car involved may have been a white Honda.
Online Deals Started Way Before Cyber Monday
Today is Cyber Monday, what has traditionally been the busiest online shopping day of the year. But the online deals started before today. Target’s digital app, Cartwheel, started offering holiday deals November 1. Amazon started offering 35 days of Black Friday deals on Nov. 16. And Walmart kicked off its Cyber Monday deals on Friday. On today’s Teleforum, Mike Romigh asked Dr. Audry Gusky, Assistant Professor of Marketing at Duquesne University, if the stores have taken the fun out of holiday shopping, to which she responded, they have simply made it easier, which is what people wanted. Consumers spent 21.6 percent more online Friday than they did a year earlier on the day after Thanksgiving.

Beaver County Radio Broadcasts Live at M.R.S. Physical Therapy

Mike Romigh and Ed Hermick hosted a special live on site interview at MRS Physical Therapy. The special on site broadcast was part of the regular monthly series of interviews air on Beaver County Radio with facility director, Dale Reckless.

Turnpike Expecting 3.5 Million Vehicles.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike is expecting nearly 3.5 million vehicles to travel the toll road throughout the Thanksgiving holiday. Tuesday saw the heaviest volume and it will pick up again on Sunday as motorists head home. All construction has been suspended except in case of emergencies. State troopers will be watching for speeders and motorists who are texting while driving.
Trump Offers Thanksgiving Message
President elect Donald Trump has posted a Thanksgiving message on social media saying, “it’s my prayer that on this Thanksgiving we begin to heal our division and move forward as one country strengthened by shared purpose and very, very common resolve.” Trump also acknowledges that emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight.
Macy’s Parade a Thanksgiving Highlight
A giant Charlie Brown balloon joined one thousand clowns and a dozen marching bands along a parade route lined with spectators and police in plainclothes for the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Charlie Brown is one of three new giant character inflatables in this year’s parade. The parade draws huge crowds as it makes its way thru the streets of Manhattan before finishing up at Macy’s flagship store.
