Beaver Falls police are investigating a shooting that occurred late last night in the 900 block of 10th Avenue in the city. Police say one man was shot and was life-flighted to a local hospital. There is no word on the man’s name or condition.

SHELL REPRESENTATIVES ARE MEETING WITH PENNDOT OFFICIALS THIS MORNING TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO CHANGE THE ROUTE THE CEMENT TRUCKS TAKE TO GET TO THE PLANT. A woman crashed over an embankment this morning after she swerved to avoid hitting a deer in North Sewickley Township, investigators say. The accident was reported on River Road, near its intersection with Old River Road. The car was found wedged between several trees, which prevented it from going over a cliff. Crews had to cut open the side of the car to get the woman out. The unidentified woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries, but she is expected to be OK.
