State Representative Candidates Terri Mitko and Darcelle Slappy to appear on Teleforum Tuesday September 25, 2018

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Tune into Teleforum with Frank Sparks Tuesday September 25, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon as Frank starts a series of interviews of candidates who are running for Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the upcoming general election on November 6, 2018.

Frank will start out the series with Terri Mitko who is a Democrat running in the 15th Legislative District  against Republican Josh Kail. Terri will appear at 10:00 am followed by Darcelle Slappy a Green Party Candidate who will be challenging current PA 10th District Republican Representative Aaron Berstine. Darcelle will be Frank’s guest at 11am.

The candidates will be taking your phone calls and answering any questions that you may want to ask them at 723-843-188 and 724-774-1888 and also on the Facebool Live stream during the interviews.

2 Dead, 1 Injured In Darlington Township Crash Over The Weekend

Two people were killed and one other was injured in a car accident in Darlington Township on Sunday morning. It happened around 10:45 a.m. at Constitution Boulevard and Little Beaver Road. According to state police, 62-year-old Janet Feezle of Enon Valley drove into the path of another vehicle and was struck head-on. Feezle was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the second vehicle was flown to UPMC Presbyterian, where he was pronounced dead.  State police identified the victim as 29-year-old Walter Nelson Reynolds of Baden. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital by ambulance in an unknown condition. A child was also in that vehicle. Police say the child was OK.

In a game heard on WBVP  it was a game that the two rivals didn’t just battle each other, but they also battled the weather with three weather delays. Aliquippa dominated early and never looked back as they jumped out to a early 20-0 lead and eventually made it 39-0. where they came up with the win 39-0.

Police Investigating Overnight Shooting In Aliquippa; One Person Hospitalized

State police and Aliquippa police are investigating a shooting on Highland Road in Aliquippa. The incident was first reported just before 9:00 last night in the 600 block of Highland Avenue. According to state police, 23-year-old Milton Wesley of Aliquippa was taken to UPMC Presbyterian to be treated for a gunshot wound. There’s no word on Wesley’s condition. Officials have not yet said what prompted the shooting. Part of Highland Avenue had to be shut down while police investigated.
