Loughlin’s Lawyers Say Prosecutors are Hiding Key Evidence

BOSTON (AP) — Lawyers for actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband say federal prosecutors are holding back crucial investigative records that could prove the couple’s innocence in a college admissions scandal that has ensnared dozens of wealthy parents. A court motion filed Friday in Boston’s federal court asks a judge to force the Justice Department to turn over records that could help lawyers mount a defense for the “Full House” star and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli. The couple’s lawyers say that by withholding certain FBI records, prosecutors are denying their right to a fair trial. .

‘The Standard is the Standard’ Congresman Conor Lamb Reinforces His Impeachment Vote on Facebook

Congressman Conor Lamb is defending his decision to vote for the articles of impeachment against President Trump. On Sunday, Rep. Lamb reinforced his vote on Facebook. The post read, “What President Trump did was wrong,” the post read. “I hoped he would take his responsibility & put this incident behind us. But he hasn’t. Instead, he insists the call was “perfect,” which means he would do it again.” In March 2018, Lamb won a special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District and then won again in the 2018 midterm elections. In what was likely a nod to Steelers fans ahead of their Sunday night primetime matchup against Buffalo, Lamb ended his statement with an often-used saying by Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin. “The evidence is clear.
