President Volodymyr Zelenskiy says he stressed the importance of the military aid repeatedly in discussions with President Donald Trump, but “it wasn’t explained to me” why the money didn’t come through until September.

Motorists Get Eyeful As Porn Plays on Electronic Billboard

MOTORISTS TRAVELING THROUGH A DETROIT SUBURB WERE STUNNED TO SEE A PORNOGRAPHIC VIDEO PLAYING ON AN ELECTRONIC BILLBOARD. AUBURN HILLS POLICE SAY THE VIDEO PLAYED ON THE BILLBOARD ALONG INTERSTATE 75 IN OAKLAND COUNTY FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES SATURDAY NIGHT BEFORE THE IMAGES WERE REMOVED. MANY PEOPLE CALLED 9-1-1. SOME MOTORISTS WHO SAW THE VIDEO WONDERED IF THE BILLBOARD WAS ADVERTISING FOR A STRIP CLUB. INVESTIGATORS SAY TWO PEOPLE APPARENTLY BROKE INTO A SMALL BUILDING AT THE SITE AND LOADED PORN ON A LAPTOP THAT’S CONNECTED TO THE BILLBOARD.

Outside Group That Supports House Republican Candidates Using Digital Ads to Accuse House Dems of Backing ‘Radical Scheme’ to Impeach Trump

WASHINGTON (AP) — An outside group that supports House Republican candidates is using digital ads to accuse three House Democrats of backing “a radical scheme to impeach President Trump.” The ads are among the first to use House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump to target that party’s congressional candidates.

High Point Poll: Biden 11 Points Ahead in NC

Former Vice President Joe Biden holds a strong lead in the latest poll of Democratic candidates in North Carolina, according to the latest poll from High Point University. The school surveyed 348 Democrats in the state, and found Biden holds a commanding lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

Biden: 31%.
Sanders: 20%.
Warren: 15%.

No other candidate broke double-digits, including Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Cory Booker, D-N.J., and entrepreneur Andrew Yang, who were the only candidates to register more than 3% support. Biden also had the highest level of favorability, with 70% compared to Sanders’ 61% and Warren’s 53%.

Pittsburgh to Cleveland in 9 Minutes? There is New Funding to Study the Possible Hyperloop Route

Pittsburgh to Cleveland in nine minutes? It’s something that could become a reality. The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency is getting $100,000. The Richard King Mellon Foundation wants the agency to analyze a Cleveland-to-Pittsburgh corridor in addition to a Hyperloop route from Chicago to Cleveland. One of the routes already being considered is from Pittsburgh to Columbus to Chicago.

The Clock is Ticking: Today Marks One Year Until PA’s REAL ID’s are Enforced

Today marks one year until REAL ID is enforced in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID to visit secure federal buildings or fly within the U.S. without a passport. The REAL ID will be required starting Oct. 1, 2020. If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to pay a one-time opt-in fee of $30 plus a renewal fee. Currently, the renewal fee is $30.50 for a four-year non-commercial driver’s license or a photo ID. You’ll also need to take your birth certificate or passport, social security card and two proofs of residence to a Penn DOT driver’s license office.

Exterminators Spray for Bedbugs Overnight, Duquesne Incline Opens as Scheduled

The Duquesne Incline is open as normal this morning after officials were brought in overnight to address concerns about bedbugs. The incline opened at its regular time this morning, 5:30 a.m. There was some concern after bedbugs were discovered on Monday. However, the incline manager says exterminators worked overnight to get the situation under control. The official says the exterminators will return in a few weeks to follow-up treatments.

Your Next Beer Could Cost More: New Tax Goes Into Effect for PA Breweries

Customers at Pennsylvania breweries might have to start paying more for their favorite beer starting today. Breweries are now required under Act 13 of 2019 to pay use tax on all malt or brewed beverages sold directly to consumers. The tax is on 25 percent of the retail price of malt or brewed beverages, including purchases made for on-premises consumption and to-go. Breweries could decide to pass the added cost onto consumers.
