CCBC Players of the Game

The first game of the Quigley Classic double header was the All-Star girls. It was a thrilling game filled with great players, throughout the area. The CCBC players of the game were: Beaver Falls’ Island Bradley and Ambridge’s Chloe Rabold.

The boy’s All-Star game started off quick, with many hoops. The CCBC players of the game are: Central Valley’s Gabe Samangy and CWNC’s Brian Davidson.

In a game where Quaker Valley took of early, they never looked back. Building on that early lead, and came away with an impressive 89-53 victory. The Quakers take on the Sharon Tigers on Monday, who won against New Castle.

WBVP 

Villa Maria- 55, Beaver 40

It was a close game from Sharon going into the third Quarter between Villia Maria from Erie and Beaver. Villia Maria was leading by 10 points during most of the final two quarters, but Beaver fought hard to cut the lead. However, Beaver fell short when time expired. Villa Maria’s CCBC player of the game was: Ava Waid and Beaver’s was: Bella Posset in her final game.

 

 

WMBA 

Ambridge 40, CWNC 68

In a game that started out close, CWNC went on a run in the 2nd quarter and never looked back. Ambridge great season ends in an 68-40 loss, but the Lady Bridgers have a lot to look forward to in the future. As for CNWC their season continues and they play Villa Maria in the girls 4-A PIAA state Playoffs.

Quaker Valley 54, Grove City 48 on Beaver County Radio

In a game that was back and forth to  start, Grave City had WPIAL runner up Quaker Valley at the half by five, but the Quakers had a great third quarter to regain the lead and never looked back to capture the victory to advance in the PIAA state basketball tournament.  Quaker Valley moves on to play Hickory who beat Belle Vernon 92-52 on Tuesday.
